Berkshire Clockworks offers expert professional antique-clock restoration, repair, & maintenance services to customers across New England and beyond.
Curtis Jones came to the study of horology (the science & art of time, time-keeping, and watch/clockmaking) by way of his stepfather, a long-time and highly successful clockmaker in the Mid-Atlantic region of the country. Having already established a successful career in technology, Curtis found himself drawn to his stepfather's orderly clock shop and the focused, hands-on, unhurried, meticulous, problem-solving nature of the clock-repair process.
After years of study under his stepfather's mentorship, and after devouring countless books on the history, art and science of horology, he and his family relocated to the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts where he established Berkshire Clockworks in 2003.
Curtis brings his blend of precision craftsmanship & care to his work -- taking the time to do things right -- resulting in happy, long-lasting clocks and customers.
