The motto at SKAI is to “Expect the Unexpected.” Sandy searches far and wide for one-of-a-kind antiques and unusual objects that inspire conversation, awe, and overall good vibrations. Her single-story, 2,000 square foot antique store is filled with pieces that have caught her reknowned “eye”. Furniture in its original painted surface, architectural elements, folk art, mid-20th Century furniture and accessories and unusual items that spark Sandy’s flare for decorating. Her tireless search for fabulous and funky items that inspire and refresh guarantees that, year-round, she’ll bring in new items weekly.
In addition to the shop, Sandy offers Design Consultation services that focus on working with a limited number of clients in a timely and budget-conscious fashion, aimed at improving surroundings through smart design. One room or a whole house; starting from scratch or utilizing what you already have; choosing paint colors, fabrics, floor and wall treatments, or editing, rearranging and refreshing, Sandy welcomes projects of any size.
